2. ABCs & 123s Textbook ==  Taught every week according to the schedule. ; Total Monthly Hours = 4 hours ;  Additionally Class Fee = None ; Art-making supplies = included, which also includes the issuing of a student booklet for textbook designing. 

 

Program Overview

        Taught twice monthly, Storytime Art is CAF's introductory teaching level for "art education" and "art appreciation" lessons for students, ages 2 - 5.   Participation involves either attending consecutive (class) lessons or independent (appreciation) lessons that are designed to "build mastery of the fine motor skills."  WIthin each Storytime Art lesson, your child(ren) "performs those crucial motor skills, such as reaching, grasping, and moving objects, as well as using their fine motor skills to manipulate creative tools, such as crayons, pencils and scissors."  (Understand.org)

          Storytime Art child(ren) must be accompanied by a parent throughout each lesson.   Then, together, you both share in the satisfaction of exploring different art materials, engaging in various art-making techniques, and producing unique works of art that prepare for - or complement - Kindergarten!
